It's my understanding that a static pdf file might not be the best sorce of information about the game since things change so frequently with every patch. I started playing for the first time about five months ago and have never laid eyes on WoW Gaming guide.
By all means read it if you'd like. Just understand that you might get much better information by refering to Wowhead, or by asking questions in this forum.

Teapray is right about the fact that often the guides are out of date. Last time I checked brady's it hadn't been updated since Cata (it could have been updated more recently but I haven't checked it in a while). There's a sticky in this forum designed to help returning players navigate the changes http://us.battle.net/wow/en/forum/topic/8155966003. Feel free to ask questions here and wowhead and wowpedia are great resources for anything wow related.
