CWO attempts to rebuild the vanilla Civil War to what ApolloDown believes it should have been – or rather, had the potential to be before (he posits) the gaveDevs had to rush to market. This makes it a major and ambitious overhaul. Civil War Overhaul by ApolloDown I just saw this mod on the Nexus hot files, I knew it was being made but did not see it released until now. Basically the author restored much of the Civil War story line that Bethesda did not finish, but they left all the stuff for it in the esm and bsa's. I could do a more interesting civil war overhaul mods if I knew how and had people's help TheBossBros73 11 months ago I wish they made the civil war the main quest.
If anyone is familiar with the Warzones mod, Civil War Overhaul, and/or Requiem, you'll have a pretty good Idea of what I'm looking for; Mod that will satisfy Civil War player's lust for blood, not to mention making the quest and battles more fun and interesting. From changing the Imperial's weapons from Bows to Crossbows or even guns, reskinning faction armor, adding mages to the battles, making working cavalry, or turning all stormcloaks into goats, anything will do. Now go! Go, and make the civil war great again! (Just don't build any walls to keep the redgards out.)
I understand there will be limits to these mods, as Consoles don't support script extender, making it impossible on PS4 and difficult (but possible) on Xbox, but I know that if talented creators all pitch in with there ideas it can be possible. We must also have faith that old creators will try and downgrade their amazing mods that require script extender to work with Xbox, as well as new methods and exploits being used to make better mods. Our community is strong and diverse, and while I lack the skills and computer to contribute anything, I can at least be a voice, no matter how small, for the players the want the 'war' the be more than a bunch of glorified skirmishes.
